REFLECTION: A send off Sunday service for Boat Camp participants pointed hearts in the direction of Christ and set a tone for the rest of the week. Lunch was absolutely amazing. Some kind of purple corn drink blew my mind. And fried plantain?! Yes please! In the afternoon I stepped onto the boat for the first time. So cool. I’d never been on a boat like this before. Time seemed to quickly slip away and soon it was time for the evening program. So much fun! I knew it was going to be a great week.
REFLEXIÓN: El servicio dominical de despedida para los participantes del Campamento de Barcos encaminó sus corazones hacia Cristo y marcó la pauta para el resto de la semana. El almuerzo estuvo absolutamente increíble. Una especie de bebida de maíz morado me dejó alucinado. ¿Y plátano frito? ¡Sí, por favor! Por la tarde subí al barco por primera vez. ¡Qué genial! Nunca había estado en un barco así. El tiempo se me pasó volando y pronto llegó la hora del programa de la noche. ¡Qué divertido! Sabía que iba a ser una semana fantástica.
