REFLECTION: I woke up at around 5:00 am. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to see the sun rise over the Ucayali River. It was so very peaceful. I had some amazing moments throughout the week but those early mornings were some of the best. It was wild to me how the ladies in the kitchen prepared so much food and served it so quickly. Incredible. The afternoon in the field where games were played was a blast. I couldn’t understand everything that was said but there was a lot of laughter, a sense of ‘team’ and a worry free attitudes.
REFLEXIÓN: Me desperté alrededor de las 5:00 a. m. No pude resistir la oportunidad de ver el amanecer sobre el río Ucayali. Fue muy tranquilo. Tuve algunos momentos increíbles durante la semana, pero esas mañanas tempranas fueron algunas de las mejores. Fue increíble para mí cómo las señoras en la cocina preparaban tanta comida y la servían tan rápido. Increíble. La tarde en el campo donde se jugaron los juegos fue una maravilla. No pude entender todo lo que se dijo, pero hubo muchas risas, un sentido de “equipo” y una actitud despreocupada.
