Commnet is a team of cross-disciplined creatives dedicated to declaring the Glory of God globally and locally, advocating for unreached harvest fields, and engaging individuals in our communities with good news of God’s Kingdom. We come alongside Pioneers to capture and share stories with international audiences. It is our ambition that our works will be used to expand the Kingdom of God, mobilize missionaries, catalyze intercessors, and marshal financial partners to buttress the initiation of church-planting movements.
ABOUT US
Who We Are
Project Scope
Commnet has an intentionally narrow scope and engages in projects exclusively for Pioneers and Pioneers ministries, with a focus on advocacy for unreached people groups or geographic areas.
Video projects centered on the organization of Pioneers (e.g. who we are / what we do / our history) don’t typically fall within this range. One way to think about it is advocacy versus advertising.
Within our scope, Commnet video projects are well suited to meeting many organizational goals.
Accounts of Pioneers teams celebrate how God is at work and demonstrate desperate needs that still exist. Stories from the field can captivate, compel and inspire those who pray, those who give and those who God calls to go.
Given security sensitive environments, we have a robust security policy and work exclusively with footage we have taken in the field.
Completed projects are assessed by a point person from the field prior to distribution. Only footage that has been through this process is available for future use.
We believe these policies have helped develop Commnet into a ministry of integrity with fellow Pioneers who serve in some of the most difficult places on the planet.
Purposeful Projects
The primary purpose of Commnet Projects is to capture stories among Pioneers and/or their communities and national partners, and SHARE these stories with a wide audience to celebrate how God is at work, advocate for unreached peoples, and invite others into the harvest fields.
Commnet projects WILL BE SHARED ONLINE.
Wide project distribution does not preclude sharing media from security sensitive environments. With our core-value of innovation and flexibility, Commnet is dedicated to finding creative ways to capture and share stories in ways that aid in neutralizing security related issues.

What They Are Saying
This is where Jake* and the ministry of Commnet comes in. Whenever he takes a photograph or creates a video it multiplies. It multiplies into more missionaries on the field. It multiplies into literally thousands of prayers for the lost and the unreached. It multiplies into financial support for ministries of compassion and church planting around the world. And from here on the mission field, we see that impact.
Jake* engages with nationals wherever he's at. He doesn't just stand apart and take pictures. He builds relationships with people - and that's very important. It demonstrates that his heart is for people and for seeing the glory of God among people who have never heard.
Jake* is one of the boldest evangelists I know. He talks to strangers and starts conversations with them. He will go to temples simply to engage people who don't know Jesus. Though he is primarily a tech guy - a great photographer, and all these things – that camera for him is a tool, and he uses that tool to step into peoples lives.
The advocacy of Jake* and the Commnet team in our region of Southeast Asia resulted in answered prayer. From humble beginnings as a single couple serving here, the team rapidly grew and multiplied into several teams. Every missionary family that came to join us pointed to resources that Jake* had created as instrumental in the process.
